Sharon Sant was born in Dorset, the oldest of four children, and now lives in Staffordshire. She grew up in a rather eccentric family with a diverse cultural heritage and collective itchy feet.
As a mature student, she graduated from Staffordshire University with a first class honours in English and creative writing. Her career to date has included singer, newspaper promotions, paper plate stacking and almost everything in between. She currently works as an editor for Immanion Press and continues to write her own stories.
Sharon has eclectic reading tastes across many genres and, when not pretending to be a domestic goddess, can be found lurking in local coffee shops with her head in a book. She has a particular passion for young adult fiction along with fantasy and magical realism. As a child she suffered from insomnia and spent many sleepless nights making up adventure stories in her head. She still makes up adventure stories, but these days old age makes her wait until she is awake and then she has to type them out straight away before she forgets them.
